Resilient Landscapes is an exciting new initiative launched by CIFOR-ICRAF, a global research organization of 700+ staff that spans more than 4 continents, with headquarters in Kenya and Indonesia and international offices in 25 other countries, including China, Brazil, Peru, Ethiopia, Cameroon, Cote d’Ivoire and the Democratic Republic of Congo.

Founded in 1993 and 1978 respectively, the Center for International Forestry Research (CIFOR) and the World Agroforestry Center (ICRAF) are leading intergovernmental organizations (IGOs) and centers of scientific excellence that conduct research-in-development on the most pressing challenges facing the world’s landscapes. The two centers merged in 2019 and strive to use the world’s best science to address climate, hunger, poverty and biodiversity challenges.
