Tree Seed and Seedling Field Guide Series

A core component of the Quality Tree Seed for Africa (QTS) project is strengthening technical capacity for quality tree seed and seedling delivery systems. The project aims to bridge tree seed supply gaps while enhancing the knowledge and skills of seed and seedling producers, nursery operators, restoration practitioners, and other sector stakeholders. The guide series is based on training materials developed and delivered through the QTS project to restoration champions. These materials have been consolidated and structured into a practical field guide series to support ongoing learning and application in the field. By improving access to technical information and practical skills, the guide contributes to the project’s objective of strengthening the availability and use of high-quality tree seed and seedlings within the restoration sector in Rwanda and Kenya.
