Adding nuances: constructivist inquiry in agricultural R&D

Standard practice in agricultural research and development is for outside agents to define relevant variables to be researched or discussed or in community fora. This might be called “prspective” inquiry, due to the fact that parameters are pre-determined without consultation from other social actors. An alternative form of inquiry is gaining momentum which can trasform agricultural R & Dby making research questions and methods, as well as group learning, responsive to multiple realities.
