Shaping “farmers of the future” in Zimbabwe
The world agroforestry centre (ICRAF)”Famers of Future FoF” initiative aims at facilitating the intergration of agroforestry and natural resources management in basic education.ICRAF thinks agroforestry has the potential to impact on food security ,health and nutrition,agroforestry also offers unique opportunities to enhance the quality and relevance of education.Inded,thanks to multidisciplinarity of agroforestry,scientific, social,economic political and cultural aspects con be intergrated into different learning subjects and help the intergration disciplines.This can lead to more effective application of what has been learned and give a practical touch to theory.
