The booklet serves as a tool to provide investors and partners the magnitude and importance of the RUPES project and the prospects for the future. It functions as a platform for equipping RUPES investors and partners to make the case for RUPES. It enables a broader access to stakeholders and investors who are not currently aware of the RUPES efforts and the potential of rewarding and recognizing environmental services for poverty alleviation.Written to target at audiences not fully familiar with agroforestry and payments for environmental services, this booklet is crafted to enhance their understanding.Brief description on issues related to environmental service payment is presented in the booklet. RUPES background and strategy as well as research and development opportunities are also included in it.Brief account is given to each of the currently six RUPES action research sites.The booklet is also available on Vietnamese.
