Concepts of agroforestry
The paper begins by examining the definitions of agroforestry systems. It then goes to great lengths in exploiting the biological premises on which agroforestry systems can be built. By reviewing other works, the paper arrives at some valid and acceptable conclusions on the biological front. The socioeconomic premises, however, remain speculative because of a lack of solid data to support the arguments forwarded. None the less, the article is highly readable and interesting.
